Bridal Alterations
What you need to know: I would recommend booking in for alterations 2 to 3 months in advance. Spring through to early Autumn can be busy so please book your appointments in plenty of time. You will need to bring the correct shoes and undergarments with you to all your fittings. These will be the same as those you will be wearing on the day.
Bridal alterations require a deposit to be paid at the first fitting. This will be deducted from the final amount.
Full payment will be taken ready for the final fitting and your dress/ dresses will be steamed, ready for you to take away. As space is limited, I am not able to store items for a long period of time and doing so may incur a storage charge.
Lastly please make a note of your appointment times and ensure you are punctual to your appointments.
Express Service
An express service can be offered at an additional cost during peak season, strictly subject to availability.
Dress Steaming Service
Dress steaming is included as part of the alteration service before you take your dress away. Steaming of other garments or additional steaming closer to your event is available upon request, subject to availability.
Made to Measure Occasion Wear
If you are after something a little bit different or cannot find what you are looking for, perhaps a bespoke made to measure service is what you need. I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your ideas and requirements. Based on your ideas and fabric choices, I will produce a quote and timeline for work to be carried out. Moving forward from here, you will need to pay a deposit, which will be deducted from the final amount. Full payment will be taken ready for the final fitting and your garment will be steamed and ready to take away with a complimentary hanger and dress bag.
General Alterations
Repairs and alterations can be carried out on a range of items such as dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans, coats, and jackets. Alterations include hems, taking in side seams and waists, adjusting straps, lifting shoulders, and replacing zips. Please get in touch for current alteration prices.
Curtains, Blinds and Soft Furnishings
Curtain alterations include shortening lined and unlined curtains, replacing linings and reducing width.
Made to measure curtains, roman blinds and soft furnishings such as cushion and seat covers can also be ordered.
